Mark is 6 months- Hannah Big Sister
Hannah at her end of Year Christmas Carols at Heidis House
Mark and Craig in the Cederberg Last Weekend, at the Cedar Peak Lodge with the Redfrens and the Oscrofts!

I must say, we have had a really crazy last 6 months. Craig has been doing a business course, the Louis Group business academy and has bought out his opposition in the Western Cape with kiddie rides. This coupled with being a great dad, gardener and household diy guy have put him under a fair amount of stress.

Janet has been powering on as the worlds best mom and is doing a great job. She has been seeing to Mark each night leaving Craig to get a good night sleep. This was different to when Hannah was young and they both shared the night vigil.
Hannah fell on the tile floor and we have watched her front 2 teeth get more and more disfigured. The dentist tells us to brush the gums to stimulate growth. We have been doing this but her teeth still seem to stay yellow...at least new ones come at come stage!
Mark has lots of smiles and seems very chilled with life. He eats all his food and laughs hysterically when you tickle him on his tummy. He's just learnt to sit at 6 months and sticks his bum up in the air (something they do just before they start crawling).
We are excited for Christmas and family time and look forward to getting a bit of relaxation and some holiday time.
Hope you enjed the pics and lots of love.
The Meachams.

Hannahs Third Birthday
Mark is 4 months, Hannah is 3
Its been a long time since our last post, 3 months to be exact. It's been a great time getting to know our son a little more and seeing our daughter grow in her love for him. We had a wonderful time away to Plett recently, very special in that it was the last time that we could hang out together as a family before Jan had to go back to work. She has the perfect mommy setup with a 3 min trip to Sports Science and 2 mornings work a week.
Hannah had a lovely third birthday and got a bycicle from Grandma and Grandpa. She had a little fall this week but other than that she is doing very well on the bike and cycles unassisted with the help of her fairy wheels. Her Pooh Bear birthday cake was made by Ouma who made a special trip out from the farm to spend the week with us.
Mark is learning to sit and sat unassisted for the first time today. He started shreaking with delight for the first time this week when we undressed him for the bath. He loves the water so maybe a chip off the old block (Craig).
We hope that you enjoy the pics and we hope that you are all well.

Mark has arrived!
It's been an exciting and challenging time welcoming our new arrival, Mark to our house and our home.
Meacham 3 has officially become Meacham 4. The problem with this is that we can't change the name of the blogspot...at least I don't think.
Our house in Claremont has truly become our home and we are enjoying the winter sun when it comes through every 4 days or so in classic Cape Town winter fashion.
A friend told me that with an extra child in the house it's a case of 1 plus 1 equals 3 and that maths is not always true. Well, I'll have to go with that. It's lots of work and Hannah doesn't always understand that she has to wait her turn and you can't talk to a screaming baby.
But even with lack of sleep and domestic squables we have grace for each other and God sustains us over this tricky season of early parenthood.
For those of you who we don't see that often, we miss you but you are in our thoughts and prayers. Hope all is good your side. Enjoy the pics.

Summer 2009
What a great summer it's been. Loads of memories and action packed. The big event coming up in our lives is the birth of our son and all three of us are waiting in eager anticipation. We hope that you all had a blessed Easter and that the year is treating you well with economic upheavals and all.......
Lots of love and lots of smiles as you will see from the pics coming!
Johny and Jackie- Easter visit. Hannah was STOKED with all of her Easter Eggs. I reckon she must have been quite good for the bunny to give her so many!

Jans tummy is popping out big time. With 3 odd weeks to go its not surprising. I wonder if this one is bigger than Hannah was?
SUNSET over the Promenade
Ben, visiting from Canada was such a great blessing to us with help around the house with our adding on an additional bedroom, general DIY and amazing cooking skills across an array of food types. We also had a visit from Heather who kept Jan company while I was on a 4 day surf trip to Mozambique - This just before the birth of our son.
Lots of love and lots of smiles as you will see from the pics coming!
